An important part of almost any ministry is music.  We recognize that not everybody is naturally gifted with musical ability.  But we also know that everyone can learn something about music and playing an instrument with time, patience, guidance and practice.

During the year in we will ask each participant to choose a primary instrument - either guitar or piano.  Instruction with be given in basic music theory (what is music, how to read music, etc.).  You will also receive instruction on your instrument of choice.  You will be given time each day to practice your instrument and, as our talents grow, we will take time each week to praise and worship corporately.

You will also be taught, and have practice, in leading songs and leading worship.  You will note on the Projects page that you will also be learning to setup and run a soundboard and audio/visual equipment.

If you already have knowledge in these areas you will be asked to assist as we teach others.  You will also be asked to practice to continue in the improvement of your abilities.
